Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22nd. It’s a day dedicated to environmental awareness and action, focusing on issues such as climate change, conservation, and sustainability. Earth Day events often include  tree planting, recycling initiatives, educational programs, and advocacy for environmental protection.
In commemorating the World Earth Day this year, Bogo Water District conducted a Clean-Up Drive at San Vicente St., Bogo City (Pantalan Wharf) on April 27,2024, Saturday, as part of the collective efforts with the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) in securing clean and sustainable water sources for all. Bogo Water District aims to impart to everyone that joining a clean-up drive isn’t just about picking up litter; it’s about nurturing our planet, fostering community pride, and inspiring positive change. Every hand makes a difference in preserving our shared home.
Leave a green footprint and let’s sweep away the mess for a brighter tomorrow!
