World Water Day is held annually as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This activity aims to raise awareness and inspire action to tackle water and sanitation issues. This will further show the potential of nature-based solutions for water and how they can be considered for water management policy and practice.

In celebration with the World Water Day 2019, the Bogo Water District conducted various activities: Poster Making Contest for Elementary and High School students in all private and public schools in the City of Bogo and Motorcade.

The Poster Making Contest was held on March 13, 2019 at Bogo Amphitheatre. It was participated by different schools in the City of Bogo. Winners received cash and plaques from 1st to 3rd placer on each category and certificates of participation for the non-winning contestants.

On March 22, 2019, the Bogo Water District Employees conducted a motorcade in some area of Bogo City. BogoWD gave 100 pcs of Tap Bottled Water and candies to the City of Bogo Constituents
